A sure sign of the end times.

This article is not intended to embarrass anyone or to demean anyone.  This article is for the edification of believers of the Word to understand how far we have come in our efforts to be all we can be for ourselves and not for God.  I really think these people in the article meant no harm, but at the same time, a lot of harm can be done just by doing what they did.  Cross dressing is not of God and sends a bad signal to those who might be struggling with what to believe and what not.

UPDATE:  The Southeastern High School once again held a cross-dressing day at their school for the year 2008-2009.  Sad Sad Situation.

December 2005 - Their moms and dads should really be proud, but I know God sure isn't!
Southeastern High School located in Augusta, Illinois held their annual Homecoming Dance and party this month and amid the usual dancing and having a little fun, there appeared a collection of women waiting to be judged. I am not talking about being judged Biblically, Spiritually or in a court of law.  Actually these "women" were not really women.  They were boys from the High School dressed in women's clothing and were in competition for the best looking, best dressed "cross dresser" of the event.  I have to admit, I was totally appalled when I read about this in the local paper.  Right there in black and white print were these pictures of boys dressed up like women waiting to be judged.
These pictures were taken from the School's webpage designed by the students of the computer classes.

Let me share with you a little of what was in the paper.

Wow, is anyone other than me, just kind of shell-shocked by all this.  I know it's already 2005 and like everyone likes to point out, it's not 1950 anymore you know. But, my goodness, can they not see what is taking place here.  What's next?  Personally I am appalled that the Lord has tarried as long to return as He has. I absolutely hate the idea that when the Lord returns, there are going to be so many who will not be ready for Him.  That troubles me deeply as I have family members who have not given their lives to the Lord yet.  My immediate family is all saved, but I do have brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, etc., who are not living for the Lord and I hate to think about them all going to Hell for eternity because they are not ready for God to make His judgment on them, but that is what has to be if the Lord returns real soon.  I cannot see Him waiting much longer.

I mentioned this article to a young lady working in a local Doctors office today and her remarks were: "oh yes and they looked so funny".  I just looked at her and she said: "this is becoming quite a tradition in a lot of schools nowadays".  Amazing!  A tradition of cross-dressing.  To me this is just another step that is being taken to indoctrinate our children into beings who will accept anything and question nothing.

In Genesis Chapter 19, The Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of their lascivious lifestyle.  Men were sleeping with men, women were prostituting themselves, and the entire of the cities were a stench to the Lord's nostrils.  Are we becoming another Sodom and Gomorrah?  I pray not, but a closer look around us may determine us to make up our minds concerning this matter.  Here in the United States, there is a city that uses the comment "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" or something close to that.  There is even one commercial promoting Las Vegas, which has these two girls introducing themselves to all sorts of different men and using a different set of names for themselves each time.  I believe they introduce themselves to at least 4 or 5 different men. At the end of the commercial is when the screen says, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".  This is nothing short of these two women promoting themselves as harlots.  The commercial makes it real plain, that if they were not doing anything to be ashamed of and didn't want anyone to know about it, they would be using their real names.  The sad part is that this type of lifestyle is becoming the norm in our everyday lives.

In 2 Timothy 3:1,2 we are warned about this type of behavior. "This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,"

This type of behavior allowed to penetrate our High School and therefore our children's minds can only lead to what the Lord has warned us about.  I am afraid for these young people. They certainly need our prayers.
