Have we lost our fear of God?  I believe we have.  This is such a simple matter.  Why not let the Word of God speak for itself!  The following verses are just SOME of the many verses pertaining to the fear of God and the consequences of not having a fear of God.  Read the following Scripture verses and then look them up so that you can see the context each was written in.  You should have NO DOUBT in your mind and heart after this quick study about the "FEAR OF GOD"!  It's time to get back to the truth.

There are 134 verses pertaining to “fear God” in the King James Bible (here are just a few of them)

Genesis 22:12, Exodus 1:21. Leviticus 19:14,  25:17, Deuteronomy 14:23, Joshua 4:24, 1 Samuel 12:14, 2 Samuel 23:3, 1 Chronicles 16:25, 2 Chronicles 19:7, Nehemiah 5:15, Job 1:1, Psalms 64:9, Proverbs 2:5, Ecclesiastes 3:14, Israel 29:23, Jeremiah 5:24, Daniel 6:26, Hosea 3:5, Jonah 1:9, Haggai 1:12, Luke 23:40, Acts 10:2, 2 Corinthians 7:1, Ephesians 5:21,  Colossians 3:22, Hebrews 10:31, 1 Peter 2:17, Revelations 14:7.

Below are a few of the actual verses.  You can easily look up the remaining verses in your Bible.

Genesis

22:12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me.

42:18 And Joseph said unto them the third day, This do, and live; for I fear God:

17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

Exodus

1:21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

Chapter 9

But as for thee and thy servants, I know that ye will not yet fear the LORD God. 31 And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was bolled.

Chapter 18

Leviticus

Chapter 19

Deuteronomy

4:10 Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and that they may teach their children.

6:2 That thou mightest fear the LORD thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged.

14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

28:58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

Chapter 31

Jeremiah
Chapter 32

Acts

10:22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

13:16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and ye that fear God, give audience.

13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.

2 Corinthians

7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

Ephesians

5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Hebrews

10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

1 Peter

2:17 Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.

Revelation

14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
