What Is Wrong With The church Today?

  You know what is wrong with the church today?  Why so many of God’s people are so ignorant?  Even many leaders are plumb stupid where the Word of God is concerned.

  If you do know, I’m gonna tell you what I think anyway.

  People don’t study God’s Word anymore. The leaders go to seminary, the synagogues of Satan, and study the teachings of MAN.  They learn how to present a lecture and the art of public speaking, and the subject matter of the teaching is usually the sayings of the former “great men of God”.  They, the professors, and even pastors on my mailing list quote men like Augustine, Ignatius, Justin Martyr, etc. to make a point.

  God’s people are being destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hos 4:6) The synagogues of Satan, which some call seminaries are teaching “human” knowledge and the words of fellow men.  The “renowned” great men of God and the writings of the early “church fathers” are held in high esteem.  Such as this is given preeminence in these universities. Actually I believe a youth got a better “Bible education” in the early “public schools” (early & mid 1800’s) than the men and women that go to these cemeteries/seminaries nowadays.

  Actually these schools take in a person with knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and when he is educated, they make him twofold more the child of hell than themselves, and therefore the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

  Witnessing the great falling away is no fun, folks.  No it isn’t.  Corresponding with some involved in the falling away is very disheartening.  It really makes me sick at heart and it makes my flesh boil. I do not like truth twisters and liars’ folks.  I don’t like the shape of the majority of the church and their leaders.

  We have spectator churches with a “one man” show.  You take a church with 200-300 members and NOBODY in that number has a preaching gift? A leadership gift?  The “deacon board” has to “hire” an outside person for the job. NO, NO, NO. That is not a New Testament Church.  It may not even be a Church at all.

  Is a choir scriptural?  Are only a certain number to sing songs of praise to the Lord our God? How ‘bout choir practice?  Must we “practice” how and what we will speak to the Lord in hymns.

  Eph 5:19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

  Col 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

  This choir in “choir robes” (a special class?) is to practice to sound good to the people sitting in the pews as spectators because nobody in there has a spiritual gift but the pastor.

  If singing is a spiritual gift, and it probably is, why then is the Holy Spirit of God so lopsided in dispensing gifts?  Half the congregation has the gift of singing or nursery worker or any menial “church job” but no one has any gifts to preach/teach and edify believers.  Is the Holy Spirit of God that lacking in leadership skills?  I recon not folks. It is just that nobody listens to the Holy Spirit anymore.

  Yeah, folks, the pastors/leaders must pay out good money to have MAN teach him in the synagogues of Satan, and teach him they do.  They teach him great leadership skills and the traditions of churcheousity.

  But come HELL or HIGH WATER I’m gonna keep on keeping on contending for the Faith ONCE delivered to the Saints, and I don’t care how many Baptist preachers get on my butt, it ain’t gonna bother me too much.  This old rear of mine is gonna rot away in the ground soon enough anyway.

  Folks, I just can’t write enough about how I feel about all this stuff going on. I am a one-finger typist, you know. I do all my writing with the index finger of my right hand.  I have only seven years of schooling, but I can preach and teach with the best of ‘em. How’s that for a Holy Spirit taught old man?

  I have confidence in the One Who saved me and I have confidence in the One Who taught me, and I have only praise and glory to the One Who sent Them Both.

  I am riled up now, and my soul is vexed, and I am ready to put on the whole armor of God.  I stand firmly against all enemies of God.  If some don’t watch out I’ll run over them with my three-wheeled handicap scooter.

  Enough for now.  God bless you all that study to show yourself approved before God.

  Remember, the churching people don’t study God’s Word anymore, but we, God’s children, know Him and love His Holy Word.

THE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH-WHERE, IN HELL, IS IT GOING?

Pastor John Griffin of the Cresson Heights United Methodist Church has decided to stage performances of Broadway musical numbers in his church to remedy his attendance problem. “I had a dying church and we had to do something to bring people in,” explains the East Hollywood, California, pastor. “The music people love, to my mind, is sacred,” said Griffin. The United Methodist bishop who oversees Crescent Heights has not condemned the services, offering instead the suggestion that the church be sure to include a number from a famous gay musical. (New York Times, 2/16/03)

[Editor]  Don’t you think this man still has a dying church? Too many sheep leaving this denomination and what action is taken?  Turn the church building into an entertainment center and bring in the wolf pups.

  These pastors must have NUMBERS, and they don’t care if they be sheep or wolves.  They don’t care if they be children of God or children of the Devil. They were already catering to wolf pups and that is why the sheep no longer assemble there. When you change your message, your followers change.  Sheep like to hear the words of their Shepherd.  They like to hear His voice in the message. They hear His voice and they FOLLOW Him. (John 10:27) So-His voice is not longer in that denomination, because HE is no longer there.

  Children of the devil don’t like to hear the Gospel/Word of God, so the message is changed to a “social gospel”.  Wolf pups like that.  They love those who advocate a “more comfortable den” for them. The “building” must be remolded or added to, as wolf pups LOVE entertainment.

  They eat, drink and are merry, for tomorrow they die, and later they die “again”.(Rev 21:8)

SALVATION OFFERED THROUGH “THE SON OF GOD”, NOT THROUGH “GOD THE FATHER”.
Presbyterian Pastor Dirk Ficca, famous for his quip “What’s the big deal about Jesus?” is still defending himself in the controversy he created with those words. What he meant, he says, was “that the God Christians know through Jesus can be and is also at work through other religious traditions.” If Ficca’s Christian witness leads “somebody to becoming a Christian, that’s fabulous,” he says. “But yes, I believe God can work within Islam as well, or any other religion.” (Toledo Blade, 2/1/03)

[Editor] There are some things that God cannot do.  He cannot lie. (Titus 1:2)  He cannot go back on His Word. (Heb 13:8) He cannot be tempted. (James 1:13) There is more, but you get the picture.

Another thing that God CANNOT and WILL NOT DO, is work through ANYONE but through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

Are you beginning to get an idea as to where the denominations are headed?

Some synonyms for denomination are-numbers, mass, bulk, majority, greatest part.

Kinda fits in with what God has said, doesn’t it? (Rom 11:5)

Bible passages can now qualify as hate literature in Canada. A Canadian man who published a newspaper advertisement merely listing Scripture references which oppose homosexuality has been found guilty of exposing homosexuals “to hatred [and] ridicule.” A commission found that the homosexual defendants’ “dignity was affronted/disrespected on the basis of their sexual orientation.” (WorldNetDaily, 2/18/03)

SODOMITES-POOR SOULS
A judge in the Washington, D.C., area recently convicted three homosexual activists of unlawful entry, but then imposed no sentence and expressed sympathy for their cause. The three, who are members of the gay organization SoulForce, were denied the Roman Catholic Eucharist at a bishops’ conference when they staged their request as a publicity stunt. Judge Mildred M. Edwards apologized for the actions of the Catholic Church and added that “tremendous violence was done to you . . . when the Body of Christ was denied to you.” (Washington Post, 1/31/03)

ORDER OR CHAOS?
Charisma magazine (2/03), a voice in the Charismatic movement, recently published an article praising the apparent work of God among Charismatic Roman Catholics. The services these Catholics hold are similar to those of Pentecostals, and contain shouting, healings, and speaking in tongues. One Catholic pastor the article features said that Christian leaders “must allow some of the chaos that goes on when God goes to work.” Pope John Paul II has publicly blessed this Catholic Charismatic renewal.

I wonder just WHO is the author of this chaos of shouting, healings, and speaking in tongues?

Pro-gay propaganda with the heading, “Like you, I take the Bible seriously!” may be coming to your doorknob soon. Mel White of the homosexual advocacy organization

SoulForce has written twenty four pages detailing why no one must use the Bible to condemn homosexuality. “I earned my master’s and doctoral degrees at a conservative Biblical seminary to better equip myself to ‘rightly divide the word of truth,’ ” he says. He proceeds to argue that the Holy Spirit has spoken “new truth about the ancient Biblical texts” and that more reliable modern authorities such as the American Psychological Association and a Fuller Seminary professor have shown the error of using the Bible to oppose homosexual behavior. [Editor] You know folks, a few days ago the WHOLE WORLD was apprehensive of the fact that a war between the US and Iraq was eminent. How many casualties would there?

Not to worry, folks.  This present war is a “piece of cake” compared to the casualties that will be afflicted upon the WHOLE WORLD when Jesus comes again. And you know what? HIS COMING IS EMINENT.

  Those who are not in coalition with God through Christ will be soon destroyed; and that chiefly includes the Soddies (sodomites) and the leaders such as Mel White who are in cooperation with their leader the Devil. They have a bad case of Devilites for which there is no cure except for the sacrifice of the Great Physician made once for all.  Read Acts 20:20-21 for the two doses of medication to cure this Devilites.

This Christmas, New York City allowed the Jewish Menorah and the Islamic Star and Crescent to continue appearing in its schools, but specifically disallowed the Nativity scene. One mother of two public school students sued, with help from religious advocacy groups. “When you disallow the Nativity Scene by calling it religious and allow other symbols categorized as religious, then you are underlying the fact [that] it becomes a less favorable religion,” stated the director of one of the groups.(CNSNews.com,12/13/02)
